Hello. I wonder if anyone can help me identify this so I can care for it a bit better!
I've had it about 3 years and the leaves used to stand up much more proudly, but since it's got bigger they've drooped down. The leaves have always had a crispy feel. I've repotted it once and it gets an occasional feed. When I bought it I was told to water it very sparingly.
Thank you!

Hi Becksw, and Welcome!

I could be way off base here, but it sure resembles a Bromeliad to me... https://garden.org/plants/sear...

Though I'm not sure which one.
The link is to our database... May help you...

I agree with Tara. This looks like some sort of Bromeliad.
I have found that coffee, tea, and rose can all agree on one thing... water everyday.

You are amazing...thank you. It's a Cryptanthus (Earth Star/Starfish plant) - I found it through the link. I now know what to do with it - better drainage, more humidity, having said that I think mine looks how it's supposed to look. Thanks again.
