Dear experts, I posted today but I did not realized it was possibly the wrong forum.

I have this little dots in my small fig tree, these things spread and kill leaves, and now it has gone to the plumbago and then to the bougainvillea next to it. I think it is probably a fungus, but I don't know what to do. I am in Houston. The fig had the same problem last year, but it came back nice this year, until it got all full of these dots again.

It may be a rust fungal infestation. It starts with small yellow to yellow-green spots that grow larger and turn brown. See below and compare the symptoms with what you have experienced:
