This patch of daylilies has bloomed in my yard for about two decades and I have no clue what it is. Is it considered a spider? It is very hardy - just started blooming this season here in Buford Georgia this week (June 7th, 2020). It has rather long thin buds, rather thin foliage which stays green through the winter. It's tall -- probably about 24 to 26". I have them pairs with Black Eyed Stellas and they are at least three to four inches taller.

Can anyone identify this daylily?

I had one Day Lily last yr. Didn't know what it was & someone told me it use to be a popular one long time ago, Also mention that it either is or something that looks very similar to an Howdy, Which every other pedal is yellow & every other pedal is brown, When it blooms, I might post pic. here since this seems like it would be a good spot to post these much older variety's Smiling

My Aunt gave this to me when I was little and she always called it Bonanza, although I know that's not the real name, I think it's the same plant, definitely thinner foliage and blooms, but quite prolific.

I think you are right. What you are holding in your hand is it. Thin foliage and blooms --- yep. Wonder if that is a real registered name. LOL -- I used to watch Bonanza on TV when I was a kid!

There is a daylily registered as 'Bonanza' but it doesn't look at all similar. There are several others with Bonanza in the name:

My first guess would have been Hall's Pink also. Although yours isn't as pink (more peach/orange), soil, weather and amount of rain can make a BIG difference from year to year.

Not to mention cameras not providing the true color or saturation seen by the eye in the garden

Bonanza is definitely not the registered name. She just said that's what she called it after me. That's why I was so excited to learn of the real name, although it's not registered.
