Hope your knee feels better soon. Send some of that rain our way!

Oh, I wish I could. We got plenty. The sun is shining now and I'm pleased.

My DH went and got a new pair of crutches and a rolling walker from the medical closet. New crutches! Still have the plastic wrapping on them. I can't use the rolling walker, but the crutches are worth their weight in gold.

My knee still hurts really bad when the bones crunch on each other, but I try to shift the weight so I don't bare down on it too much. It hurts somethin' fierce though and I have a brand new attitude towards surgery. Bring it!

Thanks for the get well thought. You're the best! Hurray! Hurray! Hurray!

If you can get knee replacement surgery, do consider it. My neighbor had both his knees done (several years apart) and he says it was worth it. He can now walk without pain and he's been able to be very active. My other neighbor also had both knees done and he loves it; his wife had one knee done and can't wait to get the other one. My brother had one knee done; he said the only downside is you can't kneel easily. I don't envy anyone needing knee surgery of any kind, but if you need it, it's something that is worthwhile.
The end is nothing, the journey is all.

You're singing to the choir here! I had a total knee (Left) in 2008 and it is worth it. I will have the right knee replaced as soon as I can arrange it. I am tired of being in pain.
