Spectacular banner Cal!
Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.

The banner was intriguing with the shadows and light effects. Impressed with the royal color and the slideshow is a bonus as to the beauty this bloom adds in a garden. A royal banner indeed.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments, acorns, & thumbs. Smiling

Those plants have faded after blooming for 2 weeks, but 3 more are
coming, and should put on their show by July.

They put out the most blooms in one bouquet of any plant I know.
At least a few hundred.

In spite of the numerous blooms, only a handful of new plants
are re-seeded each year.

Just the right number in just the right place. Thumbs up
