I have had this monstera propagating in water for about 6 weeks now. I think it's ready to pot? I have attached pictures because the roots go very high up on the stem, what size pot do you think it would thrive in? I have heard they like to be in smaller pots? Also, are those new leaves on the stems? They are pointy things sticking out? Why are they never getting longer? Thanks! It's my first monstera. 🤗

Yes the pot on the left would be fine. You did a good job rooting that Monstera over the past 6 weeks. It's time to plant in soil, and yes always keep the pot small to better manage the waterings.

@oneeyeluke Thank you for your response. Are the little pointy things new leaves or just left overs? They never get any bigger.
