I guess this will seem really picky, but here goes.
I see a picture on the main page introducing an article about Rose of Sharon, which I have always heard used for Hibiscus syriacus. The article clearly talks about H. syriacus . But the picture on the main page is not this species. At least thankfully it IS a hibiscus. Pretty sure it is a tropical hibiscus. Yes, I know there are bigger problems in this world, but I don't expect a mistake like that on this wonderful site full of very knowledgeable gardeners. Smiling Someone might go shopping for a nice yellow 'rose of sharon' based on that picture. Thinking

Yep, that looks like a Tropical Hibiscuses (Hibiscus rosa-sinensis) bloom rather than that of Roses of Sharon (Hibiscus syriacus) Smiling
