I guess this will seem really picky, but here goes.
I see a picture on the main page introducing an article about Rose of Sharon, which I have always heard used for Hibiscus syriacus
. The article clearly talks about H. syriacus
. But the picture on the main page is not this species. At least thankfully it IS a hibiscus. Pretty sure it is a tropical hibiscus. Here's what I see if this link works https://garden.org/pics/2015-0...
Yes, I know there are bigger problems in this world, but I don't expect a mistake like that on this wonderful site full of very knowledgeable gardeners.
Someone might go shopping for a nice yellow 'rose of sharon' based on that picture.
Hm... I wonder if the picture got linked to that article back in the years 'before Dave'..
