This is scary! I've had this little tree for 12 months or so now, and this is the first time it's had any kind of trouble. I can't explain it, overnight it went from a tree bursting with vigour and new growth to one with growing swathes of brown, browning or even blackening leaves. The leaves shed at the slightest touch, running my finger along a bench creates a veritable rain of falling leaves, old and new growth alike.
Some growth that has appeared since this happened is still attached to the branch, but it is discolouring and i fear it will follow the rest of the foliage.
Help! Thanks :)

The plant is telling you its time to transplant in the ground because Holly's don't like containers. If you insist on growing in a container then you will need to change out the soil with new soil.
NOT A EXPERT! Just a grow worm! I never met a plant I didn’t love.✌

Thanks! I have to have it in a pot, the soil here is pretty unyeilding and we're only renting anyway! I'll do that ASAP! Ty
