Midnight munchers!
Something is eating my purple coneflowers or echinacea!!
I tried putting out Nimoy oil and I still think they're eating the leaves and more importantly all the petals on my flowers!!
I've seen a little small black beetle about the size of a pin, and I think that may be my culprit.i found one one early in the morning any advice from anyone?

Go out every morning and evening and hand pick off all the beetles you can find and put them in a pale of soapy water. It won't take that much effort because they are easy to find.
NOT A EXPERT! Just a grow worm! I never met a plant I didn’t love.✌

Last night... in the middle of the night... I shined a flashlight on the echinacea paradoxa, and noticed a cutworm on the stem consuming petals...
Picked the caterpillar, containerized it, waited for light... tossed in the hen pen... somebody was happy to get a treat!
