I,m retired and really enjoy my box garden.Hornworms destroyed my tomatoes,they say I must take them off by hand,even some birds eat them,spray with soap water.,I lost the battle.Went to the garden shop they got stuff,but to expensive.Please help me,is there something I can mix?.

They got my lemon tree last year too. Everyone says to pick them off with your fingers, but I can't see the darn things because they blend in so well during the day and hide.

Catch hornworms in action at dusk, dawn or nighttime, when these pests come out to feed in the open. Use a headlamp and a flashlight together while it's dark and you can pick them off better. Check every night or early dawn until you get them all.
