I have 2 trees, one in the front yard and one in the backyard. I think they're both some kind of maple trees but just not exactly what type. Each of them seems to be suffering from a different type of disease.

The one in the front has a few leaves with holes in them, but its limited to a few leaves and branches. Overall the tree seems to be healthy and growing. Its current height is approximately 25 feet.

The one in the back yard seems to be suffering from a more serious disease with entire branches seemingly turning into ash. I've seen black spots on some leaves and cut those branches, but the damage seems to be all over with some very high, hard-to-reach branches. I think I'm starting to see some empty branches and seriously worried about this tree.

Would appreciate any help in identifying the diseases and suggestion for possible remedies.
