West Coast, Canada
Irises
This plant was brought over to the West Coast of Canada in the early twentieth century along with a wide variety of other plants and a crew of gardeners. It is part of what was once the town garden; a homage to elaborate and symmetrical gardens of England. This is the last plant on the property that I cannot identify. Any help would be greatly appreciated : )

Looks like Pterostyrax......Pterostrax corymbosum?

I think Chionanthus. If it came from England, it is probably C. retusus. C. virginicus tends to be more of a multi stem large shrub.

That would probably be a better fit.
I wasn't completely happy this morning with my suggestion which is why I asked for more pics.
