Thread OP
I purchased 2 hibiscus trees about a month ago and repotted them in the small pots seen in this picture. Recently the leaves tarted turning yellow and falling off.

-They are getting full sun for majority of the day. Is that too much?
-The pots are fairly small - only about 2 inches bigger than the root balls. Also the root ball slightly sticks out the top. Is that an issue?
-I water them every other day or so as the root ball feels completely dried out after a day. Sometimes it seems they may need to be watered every day - is that too much?

Any other reasons?

The pot looks small for that tree. If its drying up probably best to water it everyday or get a larger pot.
