These pictures are at the entrance to my house. I planted a Forest Pansy Redbud last fall and am looking to plant

another tree near the back of the bed to compliment the Redbud. It can't have a very large spread ?10-15 feet

as the Redbud will get to 20-25 ft (spread).

The other plants are boxwoods, perennial geraniums and Endless summer hydrangeas.

I would recommend a Japanese maple to add some nice color.

Here are some selections you might want to consider:
Cutleaf Japanese Maple (Acer palmatum 'Garnet')
Cutleaf Japanese Maple (Acer palmatum 'Crimson Queen')
Japanese Maple (Acer palmatum 'Waterfall')

Whatever happens, good luck with it!

I like Kim's suggestion.
