Hi there,

I'm stuck trying to identify what type of peas these are! My grandmother gave me a few dried pods to plant out in the spring but she's not sure what they're called. The actual peas have an unusual shape (kind of flat square shaped). The pods are also quite unique. They taste very good too. Thanks!

They look like some type of Sugar Snap Peas to me. We have a few listed here in our database with photos: https://garden.org/plants/sear...

Thanks @plantladylin for your reply. The flowers were white, and the plant leaves where long and thin (unlike the typical rounded leaf). The pods aren't edible...too tough. But the peas are really good.
