Pests and Diseases forum→Whats happened to these apples

I've not seen this on my apple tree before. Interesting that its on the same location on each fruit. On other branches too. Could it be something to do with the weather? Has been very hot and dry.

Yes, that's sunscald alright. Shadecloth set on the west side can help, but most commercial apple orchards in hot locales simply spray the plants with water during the afternoon.
