I think it must be Lamiaceae and perhaps a Stachys species?

Teucrium hircanicum?

Wow yes It certainly does look like that. I found it poking out from under a shrub last year and potted it up. But Teucrium hircanicum is not a common plant in cultivation around here. It's weird how it found it's way into my garden.

Just checked Plant finder. There are a few nurseries selling it. I must have bought it and forgot about it or it was a 'weed' in another plant. But hey! I think you're right. many thanks Janinilulu Thank You!
