Hello,
I've acquired several new houseplants I don't know how to care for. This one in particular isn't doing well. I'm not sure if I'm over watering it or not watering it enough. Not sure how much sun it likes. Wondering if I should switch to a pot that drains?

Overwatered. Absolutely most plants do need a pot that drains btw. More sun is better for now , I think. It looks like either some hylotelephium or kalanchoe, or senecio but I cant say for certain(looks like a succulent anyway).

Thanks for the advice but this isn't a succulent. It's very leafy.

That...is not really a criteria. Would you believe me if I told you that this was a succulent?

But not the succulent you have. Smiling

I would guess its a Florist Kalanchoe. It needs as much sun as you can find indoors, a pot that drains, cactus soil and a lot less water.

Perhaps a form of K.pumila, not blossfeldiana. or Hylotelephium. Too blue. Or gray.

Hi BirdieB, Welcome!

I agree, the plant in your photo is definitely a type of succulent and looks like a variety of Hylotelephium or kalanchoe to me too.

edited to say: I only posted the photos from our database to show leaf appearance, not to suggest that your plant is one of those pictured. :)
