I don't have many patterned yet, but Creative Design impressed again this year. Huge pods. lotsa seed, and never met a pollen it didn't like.

I too only worked with Tets this year, but I must say Creative Design tempted me it performed so well.

Well, I think I need to know more about how to recognize a patterned daylily. I went to the AHS site and they showed some examples that I never would have guessed were 'Patterned Daylilies". The stippled and speckled ones I never thought of as being patterned( now I can see that that would be the case). The seedling with the short strip of white on the midribs I also would not have thought of as patterned.

Larry ,

For me are patterned ones those with the ripples in the eye like for example Waves of Joy , Greek Art ,Venetian Pools ........ but i include also the multicolored ones like Butterfly Cove , Say Can You See ..... even Blues Music , they have for me a pattern of colored rings of color and in combination with wave patterns they brake up easy it seems .
Blues Music btw gives also patterned seedlings easy and is verry podfertille
Rose Colored Rainbow also a nice patterned one

Well, I looked through my list of seedlings this year, and they are probably not a fair indication of the best patterned pod setters because my plants are skewed toward sculpted relief. But as a result 'Spacecoast Pattern Plus' was probably my best patterned pod setter.
