I have the date marked on my calendar - the night before, so that I can place an order first thing in the morning!![]() |

Thanks so much for posting this as a reminder. Last year was my first ordering from Palatine, and the bare roots were fabulous, and they are all doing great here. I ordered many scores of roses from Pickering from the late 90s until they closed, so I know Canadian roses do well here in coastal Calif. As Mike said, last year I ordered pretty much the minute they opened to be sure to get my rare roses :-D |

My order is ready, will place early morning of 14th |
Be sure to keep checking the site before finalizing your orders. Some more roses have been added in the last couple of days. |

Thanks for keeping an eye out for us! |
Also, please note that the price default is in Canadian dollars. If you want to know the U.S. dollar price, change the indicator to USD in the "Currency" field on the main page for bare-root roses. The individual rose entries will have the price listed only in Canadian dollars, but the thumbnail photos will list the U.S. price. https://palatineroses.com/shop... |

I'll be dreaming of roses, but not ordering them, at 3:00 a.m. |
Okay, so who ordered what? I didn't set my alarm to place an order this year and I see that many roses are already sold out. |

Kohala, you're going to love Charles de Gaulle, a rose I've had for many years from Vintage, but struggled to find a replacement vendor. I was so thrilled to see that Palatine had it last fall, so I ordered two. They are doing great. Mike, I'm really interested in how your Mango Veranda does, being a big fan of orange roses. |

Just saw this message by Palatine Roses on Facebook: There are thank you's and then there are THANK YOUS! Our rose garden plant customers blew us to the moon today. We received over last years total sales within the first 8 hours of opening our shopping cart. We could not be more humbled and moved by all of you showing up for our garden roses. THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts. PS please be patient with us - we just hired more staff to help as work through a years worth of orders in the days to come. We will get to you as soon as we can and we will look after you to our very best of abilities. My gardening Blog! Handmade quilts, face masks, new & vintage fabrics in my Etsy store. I'm so happy for them. Excellence deserves recognition and success. Last year some problems in some of their fields caused them to cancel some orders and offer smaller roses to some of their customers. They asked me whether I'd accept "second-grade" varieties of some of my choices. I agreed, of course, because Palatine's idea of "second-grade" is far superior to some nurseries' idea of "the best." My four "second-grade" roses, for which I paid only $10, are now indistinguishable from the other roses Palatine sent me last year. |

I received a email from Palatine Roses stating a similar message that Sue posted from Faceboook. In response, I sent them congratulations. Observe, observe, observe We are fortunate to "see" & appreciate nature in ways others are blind. |
