Ouch!!

Naranjilla (Solanum quitoense) has no mercy any way you come in contact with it, underside, stem, wherever.
Its needle sharp appearance is outright visible and not deceptive, shouting "touch me and you get pierced".

Sharp banner Fleur!
Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.

That photo was a prickly proposition!
A nation mourns its fallen soldiers, who paid the ultimate price for our freedom. And Junior? Well, Junior spies their solemn white graves from the back of his limousine, and he grieves for the inconveniences he overcame for his silver spoons. Quoth the Craven “Nevermore.” ~Walter Shaub~

This is a unique and totally new plant for me. If there's something new it will eventually show up in the DB. As noted before we can always learn something here; and that is to our benefit! Naranjilla (Solanum quitoense)

It was an experience to see this plant at the Botanical Garden, but you wouldn't want to brush against it. That it bears fruit in the tomato family also surprised me. Glad you found it interesting even as "wicked" as it looks. Thank you for your responses.
