It could be a Canna Lily or a ginger. Better photos would help.

I agree, the plant in the back could be Cannas (Canna) but something about the habit reminds me more of Ginger Lilies (Hedychium)

The succulent plant is Pencil Tree (Euphorbia tirucalli)
