Well right now for us here in Houston, TX the weather is all about the fact that it appears that TS Beta has stalled over Houston, so we are dealing with just a boatload of rain I had to empty a full rain gauge that reflected 5 inches of rain here at home so far and it is still raining The whole deck is wet so ALL of the plants have been watered. As I said in other threads: "There is not a dry eye in the house!!" Now we just want the rain to stop! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds that you plant. Robert Louis Stevenson |

Yep, rain sounds really good right now. It's been weeks of dry here. Fire warnings have been posted. A chilly cloudy 67, went down to 37 last night. Tomorrow temps should be going up at least 10 degrees for the foreseeable future ( and maybe rain next week! ![]() |

Well we are definitely tired of getting rain here in Houston, TX Of course, I have seen worse since my better half and I did manage to survive being flooded 3 times in 27 months with the last being the 5 feet of water we got from Hurricane Harvey including, Memorial Day 2015; tax day 2016 and finally Harvey in August 2017. But that was at the house in Meyerland. We have not seen anything that bad since 2017. Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds that you plant. Robert Louis Stevenson |

WOW @quietyard Linda, back into the triple digits?!? Well right now it is cloudy and dry with the current temperature at almost noon of 73 F and we have 89% humidity with a very slight chance of rain and it feels like 73 F which to my way of thinking is very cool Of course, for us the forecast is for highs ranging into the high 80's but it is supposed to cool down again by next week yes I am talking about October 1st or 2nd when the high is forecast to be about 76 F now the lows for today and tomorrow are supposed to be in the high 60's then lows in the low 70's until next week September 30 and October 1st and 2nd are forecast for lows in the range of 60 to 63 F. Now to me that is down right cold!! Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds that you plant. Robert Louis Stevenson |
