Had to remove my 2 ALocasia cupreas from the terrarium, they got too big for it. Now they live in the greenhouse. Both were large enough for 2 gal pots. Now you can see all the other stuff though, and the Alocasia infernalis that was always shaded out can have its big chance

Love the colours on it Lovey dubby Do you find that as they mature their colour changes? I've seen a lot of juvenile cupreas and they always look extremely red-bronze-ish but yours is huge and looks a lot more green! Green Grin!

I actually find that it is a function of light. When the light is weaker they are more red, when its higher more green. I don't believe that there is a real separate cultivar came Red Turtle. I think all cuprea are the same but many people disagree with me. Another reason I had to move this out...I changed the overhead lighting in the tank from 5 separate small LED bulbs to a shop fixture with 2 4ft fluorescent Full Spectrum Daylight bulbs which are much more photonics wattage LOL, and this plant was so tall it started to bleach
