Hello ~ I'm wondering if this is a coreopsis plant.

The buds, flowers, and stems are like coreopsis, but the toothed-leaves do not seem common to coreopsis.

Can anyone identify this for me ? Thank you !!

Welcome! from a follow Northern Nevadan

Yes, its a Cosmos.
