Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.

Love the way this created a nearly seamless sea of sunny blooms, Fleur. Lots of potential food for the birds, too. I hadn't realized until now that you, too, are located in Michigan Smiling

Sunflowers are a garden favorite here. The blooms have the unique fragrance of a sweet honey aroma. The seeds keep my winter bird population well fed through cold, snowy weather. And they are beautiful just to grow in the back of the garden! A winning combination all around. Hurray!

I'm so pleased at your responses, even to such a simple common flower. Thank you for your time and thoughts, let alone the thumbs and acorns.
