This has me remembering the years I served as awards chair ( from 2008-2011) . We had many more judges and higher percentages of them voted. It makes me sad to see how few votes are cast for the winner of the Stout Medal in 2020. Yes, I know that 2020 was an odd year, but I encourage any of you who are interested to become garden judges, learn more about daylilies, and VOTE for the best garden plants in your region. It is easier now that it ever was, you can take the first class online.

Larry @seedfork , you should go for it! I attended one of your regions meetings a few years ago, and took one of the Ex. Classes! Your region has some excellent instructors, and the 2021 meeting will be in Hattiesburg area, if hopefully this health situation has improved by then. The Watts garden is a world class garden, and they are both elderly, so it won't be around forever. People should see it now while they can! Biloxi will put on a super convention. Thanks

Oops, I wasn't clear. The 2021 Meeting in Region 14 will also be the AHS National Convention!!
