Foliage in a fall color palette

This was part of the annual fall display of chrysanthemums and more at Frederik Meijer Gardens in 2019. The emphasis is always on artful use of a variety of plants to create visual interest. A placard said the foliage was some kind of philodendron. The red flowers are chrysanthemums, of course.

Nice banner Elizabeth!
Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.

First, thanks for the warm welcome to the group of contributors to this feature of the website. All the thumbs up and the comments were much appreciated.

I thought that if any of you love the color foliage plants can bring to gardens and plant displays as much as I do, you might like to see the full photo from which I took this banner. There was a mirror at the back of the display bed (always challenging for a photographer to work around).

Beautiful banner, so sorry I missed it yesterday! The colors and textures are amazing. Thanks for sharing something I miss seeing. The colors of Fall are missing in this desert area, we would have to drive for a few hours and the display is not near this beautiful. Thanks for the memory!
