Beautiful, Melissa. I can't wait to see how big you get it. I have mine set to ship in 6 weeks.

Am so glad so many of you have obtained a plant. At times it can be a shocking red.

My bet still is on Melissa to get the first one over 10" in diameter. Don't let me down!

MelissaHopper said:I received my Red Zinger. It arrived late yesterday and I got it all potted up and gritted. It is sitting inside my semp shed (which has lots of windows and gets really good light) for now to protect it from the varmints. I will be moving it outside to an area that is secured from said varmints.

If you look close you can see where it already has a baby. There is a second baby but it doesn't show in these pictures.

This was taken inside.

I just moved mine outside today. It is on a table with my seedlings and some semps that Kevin gave me and the whole setup is swathed in bird netting. So far the critters have not breeched this perimiter!

Good going Melissa.

I just was out looking at my semps soaking up some sunshine.
My 'Heart of Darkness' is coloring up fast. Now to just get some size on them.
@JungleShadows how big does this one get?

My Jungle Shadows does not get real big. Where are you finding sunshine? We aren't getting any up here today.

It was 33 when I got up this morning! Burrrrrrrrrrrrr! But it sure does get my dogs going.

'Heart of Darkness' can get up to 8" in diameter. It makes a striking clump. 'Jungle Shadows' only gets 5-6" in diameter.

Sunny here all day until about 20 minutes ago when the RAIN CAME DOWN. The rest of the wek after tomorrow looks pretty good. Hope to get more cleanup!

We had sunshine until about an hour ago. Now it is cold here Melissa. You must have sent it down to us. Whistling
