Excellent banner Moggs!
Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.

Rudbeckia triloba - I was delighted to see one of my favourite blossoms up as a banner today.
There are a wealth of these tiny blossoms from August through till now. They are biennial, so encourage self seeding, and you'll have some every year. In my area they seem relatively unknown. Delight your friends by giving them seeds and beginning plants in spring or fall.

Thank all of you for the kind compliments and the acorns were unexpected. Thank You!
Nora, I love all rudbeckias because they do so well here in Georgia, I had no idea that they grew up there in Canada as well! I'm so glad you can also enjoy them. One of mine got to 6 feet, the others were varying heights depending on how much the deer browsed them, but they still bloomed.
Slowcala, I'm delighted you noticed the 4th picture, I was disappointed that it got cut off on the banner on my computer. That is the picture that inspired the banner in the first place! I'm still learning how to space things for banners. Blinking
