Imperfect Impatiens

I titled this banner "imperfect" because the plants were on sale at end of spring; no name of cultivar; and mixed shades of crimson. Additionally they were under-watered and sickly looking. I think we got 9 plants resulting in three containers for the shade garden. The end condition is shown in the banner and following photo September 12, 2020.

Great example of what some informed TLC can do for neglected plants (and other living things). Smiling I tip my hat to you.

Perfect banner Leon!
Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.

Thanks everyone. This banner "slipped up" on me since I was busy yesterday saying good-bye to October, putting things away, and changing clocks back one hour for Daylight Savings Time settings. Then I stayed up late watching a spooky movie for Halloween. (Second childhood?) I slept late this morning to find the north wind blowing hard and the temperature down to a frigid 39*F. Enough excuses.......Here is the banner photo and another view of the plants in an old feed tub.

Your actions in renewing and reviving these impatiens has paid back multifold. A beautiful asset to your garden, a contribution to NGA database and banner, and awakened positive and complimentary comments from the banner gardeners. I'd say these impatiens have been responsive to your care and kindness. A lovely clean and crispy banner now with history behind it.
