Does anyone know who the seller is? I read through the thread of emails, but, didn't see who the name of seller. I would just like to ensure that I don't purchase from them as I do purchase plants online also. Thank you!

Sebastian126, neesh19 doesn't feel comfortable revealing the name of the seller but I think she said that they are located in Florida. I live in Florida and I don't know of any Florida plant nursery who sells on etsy but I'm not all that familiar with etsy and until recently had no idea you could buy plants on that site.

Maybe @neesh19 can tell us the Florida location where her plant shipped from without revealing the name of the company.

@neesh19 I am so sad to hear about your plant. I hope things work out for you in the end. That looks like a beautiful hoya variety.

Thread OP

They're a pretty major hoya seller who have apparently created their own hybrids that sell for a lot of money, which is why I don't want to list their name because I imagine they have a lot of fans, but they do have mostly good reviews on Ebay and Etsy. If they had offered to send me a new plant, or refunded my money without all of this hassle I would happily shop there again. As I said previously, the other plant I bought from them is doing fine. It's their behavior when confronted with what occurred that has completely turned me off.

@hlutzow thank you. I do have a cutting of Macrophylla 'pot of gold' currently rooting, but it's been difficult. Was a five leaf cutting that's now down to two leaves. I bought this one in hopes of eventually combining them, but that won't be happening. Maybe a sign I shouldn't own this type of hoya, haha.

I am also having problem with my h. macrophylla. I am trying to start a conversation but I cannot upload the pictures, so I joined this conversation instead.
I cannot recognize if this is a root rot. what should I do if its a root rot. Please help.
The first picture is how it started. and the other 3 picture were taken this morning after I cut the leaf which was all yellow and dead and after I uprooted the plant.

Your roots look good. It looks like the petiole of the leaf that is yellowing is actually partially below the soil level. I have noticed that with my vining/trailing plants, I lose leaves that connect to the stem below the soil surface. This could be your issue and the rest of the plant is likely just fine.

Anyone else?

@Hlutzow, Thank you. Should I replant it into soil/perlite mixture?
