I've never grown Wax Plant (Hoya hanhiae) but I've seen photos at the Vermont Hoyas webpage of Doug Chamberlain. He has both the yellow and pink) and they are gorgeous: https://vermonthoyas.com/e-k/h...

Oh, those are pretty!

You are very welcome! I knew Doug Chamberlain of Vermont Hoyas from another gardening website about 15 years ago. He's grown many different types of Hoyas over the years and is very generous in sharing his knowledge.

I remember Doug. There was another guy....I can;t remember his name, he was on the old Gardenweb Hoya page and he was really knowledgeable. And of course Ted Green used to hob nob a bit back then too

We used to have a few really knowledgeable Hoya and Dischidia growers/sellers on these forums, AlohaHoya-Carol from Hawaii and a few Florida folks too, mjsponies (MJ), SRQHoyas (Joanie) and I recall a few others from cubits and the other gardening website, Mark, Antone, Doug, Gabby ... I learned a lot from many of them and I sure miss them sharing their advise and expertise. I guess with the growth of social media over the last 20 years, folks are scattered far and wide now.

I remember Gabby, and I am pretty sure Mark is the one I am remembering above. I bought a lot of plants from Antone back in the day...he was the mounting king!

Gina, am I remembering correctly that Antone is the one who grew lots of mounted Dischidia?? Mark Randal is the one who published Stemma (from 2007, 2008 and 2009), a pdf magazine devoted to Hoya. Each year has 4 volumes (Winter, Spring, Summer, Autumn) and they contain some really great information. I haven't read them in years and need to go back and do so!

YES Stemma! I read that. And yes Antone grew and sold a lot of mounted Dischidia and the more unusual hoya
