Surprise -- this new bareroot plant arrived on Oct. 21 and immediately started putting up a scape, and today I had not one but two FFE's open! And of course the petals and sepals are narrower and a little more pointed than they probably would be in warmer weather, but overall I'm quite pleased! Did you put some pollen on it. Hope all is well with you. |

That's really impressive. It's on my list. The description that it can bloom almost all year round caught my attention. The fact that it's already blooming for you is fantastic. I'm in Dallas (8A) so I'm sure it would do well here.Betja said:Surprise -- this new bareroot plant arrived on Oct. 21 and immediately started putting up a scape, and today I had not one but two FFE's open! Purchased and planted in late- November. It's doing extremely well and growing strong. Looking forward to seeing it flourish as we get temps in the 70s consistently in March.
