Anja, those prices on the 2012 and 2013 intros are a steal considering what they went for on the auction when they were sold either as seedlings or possible future intros. Some of them were sold with their registered name also like the $500 one which was selling for $750 on the auction. The one called IMAGINE which is listed for $200 was selling for more than $350 (it may have gone higher at some point) on the auction as a seedling (but possible intro). I was bidding on it and had to quit once it got over really high. We already have PINK CUPID and MIA BELLA here, James had bought it as a seedling a couple of years ago. He did win MONA and CLEOPATRA OF GASCONE from the auction when they were listed. www.pensacoladaylilyclub.com |

Michele, I tried to look up Pink Cupid in the AHS database and there is already a daylily by that name which was registered in 1954. I wonder if the Gaskins had gotten confirmation that the name PInk Cupit was okay or exactly what is going on. Ann (farmerbell); TN |

My guess is that either 1) these haven't been registered yet, as none are showing up in the DB or 2) she is using the prefix "Of Gascone" for all of those. Many of her 2012's are not listed by their full registered names on her website. For example, 'Pink Panther' is actually registered as 'Pink Panther of Gascone' and 'Purple Rain' is registered as 'Purple Rain of Gascone' and 'Mona' is registered as 'Mona of Gascone.' Oh how I wish people would list the official registered names on their websites, as it causes confusion. Some will label their plants by the incorrect names and then try to enter them in a flower show and be told it isn't registered, etc. Can't tell you how many emails I've gotten from upset people over the years concerning this issue. It is possible that the registrations have been sent in and have not yet been uploaded into the database, but I would either type in a partial name or look for the suffix to find the registrations when the DB gets updated. |

The data base hasn't been updated since Aug. so anything after that isn't showing yet. Mary emailed James a copy of the registration confirmation so I know they have been accepted. Julie is right, Of Gascone will be at the end if each so it will be Pink Cupid of Gascone or Mia Bella of Gascone. They may not actually be done with the website since the description isn't listed for a couple. I've been watching their website for awhile now and they have been slowly adding things. www.pensacoladaylilyclub.com |

I was able to win 'Imagine' (Gaskins Seedling A-14-2009) on the auction this past July for $163.00 which inc. the shipping. Mary sent me a nice sized DF. I feel very fortunate to have won this beautiful seedling. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Well imagine my surprise when looking up Larry Grace intros and discovering that Dr. Stump is actually Dr. Celia Stump. Yes the hybridizers need to list the whole names on their websites. This can cause MUCH confusion. Dot |

I just had a dickens of a time looking it up in the AHS Database, finally had to search on "Stump" anywhere in the name, and it came out: Dr Celia Stump (no punctuation mark!) Now I guess I'll have to go back and correct my records, redo my plant label, etc. And you're right -- Graceland Gardens still has it listed as "Dr. Stump", no mention of "Celia", and with the period...
