Hi guys! I'm guessing this damage was caused by a kid knocking over my pot or smooshing the stem onto the lip of the pot right where a new leaf was growing.

It is my hope that this grows into a long trailing vine. Should I cut it off, so it can sprout elsewhere or just leave it to resolve on its own? Thanks!

I'd remove that damaged leaf because it won't heal.

I'm always interested in how plants put out new growth. Just thought I'd share how this plant fixed it after I cut off that leaf.
