Like I said before moving into my condo, when my lawyer asked me if I was okay with all the regulations (there are a LOT!). I said I'm not okay with them applying to me, but I'm really glad they'll apply to everyone else!

We're quite comfortable in our own home that doesn't look like any other of the homes, each unique, in the neighborhood. Sensible village regs and we can grow whatever we want, as long as it's legal.

I missed the cat's ears. Had brightness turned down. The ears are cute.

Ok, back to butterflies, birds, and bees

I've been seeing bees ever since we started having temps in the 70s and 80s. Our official Christmas Day temp here was 79, breaking the previous record of 74 in 1942.
Luckily one of my rosemaries is blooming, so it's a "buzz" of activity.

Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin.

I like that there are choices of neighborhoods with HOA's and other properties that are just on a random street, and other properties out in the country. When there are choices, it's easy to avoid HOA regulations & municipal regulations by not living in a neighborhood with an HOA, or living outside the city limits.

. We made sure our second home didn't have HOA, they do but it isn't mandatory, everyone still takes care in their homes here. We are in City limits and there is a Code enforcement crew, but they're pretty fare.
