The swap system works well, but sometimes if 50 people are trying to dib on stuff all at the exact same second, the server gets overloaded and has all kinds of problems. We had quite a few hiccups the first few days of the previous swap a couple months ago, and so I'm crossing my fingers that this one goes off without technical difficulties on my side.

I'll be here at 6:00pm CT (30 minutes from now) to monitor the swap. If there are any problems, report them here. Problems would include not getting as many tickets are you were expecting, and things like that.

Tickets will not be given out precisely at 6:00pm. It could be upwards of 5 minutes late. Be prepared for that possibility, and be flexible. Watch for your system message that lets you know that trading has begun, and then you'll know that you have your tickets.

Good luck! Smiling

Oof that sure is exciting to watch. All tickets seem to have successfully gone out, and a whole pile of dibs poured in right away. Anyone have any problems?

4 was the number that the host configured for this swap and everyone got that number. Tomorrow it'll be 8 tickets. That's not an atypical number to start with since it increases by a large factor each day.

(It's "tickets * day" so day 5 gives you 20 tickets)

DnD's swap a couple months ago had 3 tickets on the starting day, and increased from there.

I remember she posted the multiplier was going to be 4 for this one. Still, that's 84 packs assuming you don't sell anything. So I'm expecting about 100 packs or so by the end.

Wondering about this - it's my first swap. I spent my 4 tickets fast, but have noticed I've been able to continue to dib on a lot of things. Is that a result of my "sales", or a glitch in the system? TIA. Update, so now at 7:16 I am getting "error, not enough tickets" since I posted this. Not worried about that, but in addition to my first 4 I got "dibs" for 12 others - don't want to take away if this is a system error. I wrote my choices down in the order I made them, so can rectify if necessary.

4 tickets is average for a five day swap. Don't forget you will get an additional .5 tickets for each item sold, so you can end up with more tickets for opening night. I think I ended up with more tickets.

Tomorrow we start with 8 tickets, the next day 12 tickets, and so on to 20 tickets which = sixty, not counting all the bonus tickets

@kywheeler,

I'm sure that if you look at your sold list you will see that you sold 24 packs of your offered seeds. This would give you 12 extra tickets to spend.

The Error message just means that you done used up all your tickets for now. Rolling on the floor laughing
