As a comment about Japanese Iris (Iris ensata 'Enchanted Lake'), scvirginia wrote:

Is it possible that the parent is not the Tall Bearded Iris 'Ganymede', but is instead the Japanese Iris 'Ganymede' as seen here?:

Plants Admin

Virginia, please post this to @KentPfeiffer either in a thread in the Iris forum or by t-mail.

Comments to any plant entry are for as stated "posting an informative comment about a plant." That means for any additional plant info or personal growing experiences and they are comments that stay permanently on that entry for future visitors to see should they visit that particular database plant. That comments section is not a forum for questions and unless someone opens that entry, those comments won't get seen.
