@daylily99
You show to have had this plant at one time, but it is not shown for presently in your PlantStep catalog, do you know where Paul might find it?

I found mine some years ago on the Lily Auction, wasnt cheap but not that bad. My plant is still small. I didnt let it set blooms year before last and I think it helped the plant grow more. I may just let it have one scape this year - its not big but hopefully will grow more this year. Just put it on your Wanted List on the Lily Auction and you might get lucky. I havent seen it offered in a number of years. Or Google it - you might find a source and ask on the Daylily Forum on Houzz.

Just a reminder for those that aren't aware, daylilies from seeds are not duplicates of a single "named cultivar".

Paul, I got mine on the LA year before last from Adam aka Intelligrated. In your search, try with and without the "." after S. It was a pretty penny but I see now that it's just an expensive DL and I was happy to get my hands on the genes. The decently-sized SF didn't bloom the first year. Did bloom this second year, in a pot.

If it help you feel better, I haven't loved it as much as I thought I would. I have attached an "ugly" picture for you. It opens a bit late, has splotchy rather than clean color and -if I remember- can get a bit hung up sometimes. But nice ruffles, good substance, strong scape. Pod and pollen fertile and I used it heavily in my pink program, so I have tons of seeds (some of which I may make available when I've finalized selecting.) I find myself rather favoring its cousins with the Linda Agin genes (expressed in Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis), as they offer more pleasing results to my eye and have reliable performance- like Linda's Magic, Alabaster Beauty, Portofino, Rose Colored Glasses etc.

Maybe try Longwood Gardens.
Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.
