Thimble cactus bloom

This is the first bloom my little thimble cactus has ever gotten.

It may be small, but its bloom packs all the visual punch of those on larger cacti. You captured great detail in your shot. Love it. Thumbs up

How lovely and what a pristine white.

I'm guessing because it is a cactus, you didn't get close enough to see if it is fragrant. Whistling

Love it Kim!

Thanks for all the wonderful comments!

Usually I post the full pic in my banner posts, but I guess I didn't this time, so here it is:

Kristi ~ no, I wasn't able to get close enough. There was one bloom that eventually came at the top though, I should've check that one. Ah well, if it blooms again, I'll see if it's fragrant. It's very dear to me, because it's one of the few cacti I have from when we left CA.

Kim, what a neat banner, and a darling little cactus! Even the spines are decorative. Looks like it can bloom in a number of different colors.
