End of Jan, (27th) and this week the plant nurseries are starting to bring out the green vegetables and herbs for sale in zone 9 around Houston. Onion bunches are being offered now at the feed stores, I saw the Husky Cherry red dwarf tomato plants showing up for gardens. Herbs right now are still at thyme, rosemary, mint, parsleys, and a few sages tucked into the mini greenhouses being offered for sale. Too early still even here for the warmer heat loving herbs.
So many roads to take, choices to make, and laughs to share!

My winter garden. Catgrass is actually cereal grains, cropped by deer, dogs and cats, and along with the weeds is crimson clover mixed with the wheat, oats, barley. Parsley and broccoli in the raised bed, rainbow chard and lettuce in the left bed

Garlic chives trimmed, need to fertilize my cedar bed -the green onions need help.
