Unless I am missing it, why isn't there a gardening in the West section listed with all of the other regions?

We have tried to keep the forum list down to a smaller number of active forums. In the very beginning, many forums were requested that we held off creating until ATP grew in numbers to support dividing up the membership. The forums that are there now were not actually created, but rather moved from a sister site, so they came with their own members already.

Now that we've grown a bit (and continue to grow!), we are willing to discuss opening up more forums to represent more specific gardening interests. If you can get together 5-6 more people who have an interest in growing a western regional forum, gather them together and post in the Site Talk forum. We're always pleased to grow with the interests of our members!

I'm in roughly the same zone as birdwatcher, and it seems like even though we're technically in the West, the northern gardening forums have more useful information for our zone. Ha, ha, "West" covers a whole lot of climate zones!
