When I went to their 2021 SPRING GENERAL DAYLILY LISTING page, it does not have any photos, do they not have photographs of the daylilies on their site? I could not find any?

Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.

I think I would find it difficult to sell daylilies if my customers had no photos, I know I like to see them before I buy. That seems odd to me. Confused

I just look for them on here. Which is a better idea anyway, as you get to see what they REALLY look like.

I have 14 plants from Greywoods this Spring. It's the only place where I can fetch them myself and save the shipping ( only 20 minutes away). Besides the five Greywoods cultivars ( which I put into the G alphabet thread), these lovely plants will be fresh dug when Darlyn has a chance

Very nice--really like a lot of their daylilies and they do have some semi-evergreens that might work here. The seedlings are also very striking, looks like work being done on patterns and hooks, but I have to tendency to like "plain" ones like 13-118D and16-147, even though it has some hooks on the edges, can't see any on the sepals. @ Zoia, would like to know your Greywoods list, I especially like Greywoods Kit Katz and G. Katz Kando.

Thanks Betty! I'm excited to have more of Darlyn's babies here. I know they'll do well, as they are barely traveling. They'll continue to experience the weather they were hybridized in. I always had good luck with the Seawright plants when they were in business for the same reason. And a lot of their stock dated back to Don Stevens, who got them into the business. They used to have a farm half an hour from me in the other direction ( North West, instead of North East).

Thanks, Zoia, love the pictures. There is a fantastic picture of G. Sugarland by Kidfishing in the plants data base. You are so fortunate to live close to hybridizers and can buy directly from them.

Sugarland was sold out last year, so I was thrilled when it was available again this year. Yes, I was devastated when Seawright closed when the owners retired. I had a five year drought, then I found the Oakes ( overpriced) and G. Wild catalogues. But nothing beats having a live farm near you, where you can walk around, admire and see the plants that you're interested in, in action. And now, with all my NGA rescources, I've made up for all that lost time! nodding Hilarious!
