Quote...Flowers of India.....
"Lobed Leaf Sea Hibiscus is an evergreen small spreading tree, up to 25 ft high and nearly as wide. It is native to some islands in the Pacific ocean, and is widely cultivated in tropical regions of Asia. This species differs from Sea Hibiscus in having leaves that are variably 3-lobed with some leaves being more slender and nearly unlobed (hastatum refers to the spear-like shape of the leaves). The blossoms are pale yellow. occasionally with intermittent pale red petal margins, and a deep red center upon opening. Over the course of the day, the flowers deepen to orange and finally red before they wither."
