How do you like the fern leaf dill? Good for pickles? I've never tried it.

It seems to be growing just fine. I have not tried any thing yet as my plants are fairly young yet.

The fern leaf dill varieties I have grown are less pungent than the larger varieties. My volunteers are everywhere and I pull them in places and leave them for the BST caterpillars in other spots. I have Lemon Mist variety of a lemon thyme in bloom right now and am tickled it is.
Herbs are usually considered an aromatic plant, and some plants teeter tween both designations of herb/vegetable.
So many roads to take, choices to make, and laughs to share!
