Thanks Anya, mine is very tall. It tends to lean over, so support helps.

Hey folks! It's been way too long and I've missed you and all of your plants!

I was asked to contribute some video content to the Canadian Peony Society virtual show that captured what was going on in the garden this year, which is part of the reason I've been so inactive here. Yesterday LG encouraged me to share it here! The video was recorded in very high resolution in hopes of giving as close of an approximation as possible to how these flowers look in person. It was a challenging growing season with extreme heat and drought, but here is the video for anyone who is interested in taking a look:

https://youtu.be/ZNTtD4BZqqA

Here is a link to a playlist which takes a more in depth look at the plants:

https://www.youtube.com/playli...

I can't wait to get back to this thread and catch up on viewing all the photos that were shared once things die down a bit for me. I hope it was a great bloom season for everyone!

Nick, your peonies are amazing!!! I always admire them and you as their grower! It was so nice to see these wonderful blooms in a rainy, cool and boring say as we are having today.

Thank you so, so much for your support everyone. It really means the world to me! This year peony season was far too short here in Alberta, with temperatures hitting the mid to high 30 C without rain for a prolonged period of time during peak bloom. I was lucky to get 3 days of flowers from a plant so it especially nice to be able to look back and enjoy the flowers this way. Thanks for taking a look!

The flowers were not tremendous here either as it was too warm .
They would wilt after only a day or two.
