I bought both and my real thrill was finding 4 vintage linen dish towels with a red geranium print at a tag sale. She was so happy and surprised her eyes lit up with hearts. I also picked up some potting soil and gave her some some seed starting trays. It's easy for me to take off in the car and get supplies and I never gave a thought to inviting her along or offering to pick up potting soil, etc for her . But she knows now! One interesting thing she said was that she used to over winter annual geraniums in the basement.

Her birthday is in August and a friend with more cake decorating skills than me is going to make a small cake decorated with (icing) geraniums. I'll post a photo of it.

Oh, you sound like a good neighbor,my parents are 83 and they look after a neighbor who is 94.
