So I'm confused about the proper ID of Hoya 'Eskimo'. Is it lacunosa Eskimo, or is it Krohniana Eskimo? I've noticed in our database we have two entries. One for lacunosa Eskimo and one for lacunosa Eskimo. Is this a mistake, or are there two Eskimos? Confused

I wish we still had a Hoya expert on this site but alas, AlohaHoya, SRQHoyas and a few others are no longer around.

I believe that Wax Plant (Hoya lacunosa 'Eskimo') and Wax Plant (Hoya krohniana 'Eskimo') You can see the difference in leaf shape in these two photos:

Leaves of Wax Plant (Hoya lacunosa) are longer than those of Wax Plant (Hoya krohniana) and H. lacunosa leaves can be solid green or have whitish to silver speckles or splotches. You can see the difference in these two photos:

Oh ok I see. I just didn't know they both had an Eskimo cultivar. Thanks Lin. Smiling Smiling
