They are very much bedraggled lol
poor things. They are trying but I don't think they are a match for the weather.

The rain and thunder have picked up again Sticking tongue out so I don't know, but this might be a really short iris season. I'm hoping I don't end up with issues of rotting.

Thank you Leslie, Lilli ☺️

Awww Frostling is blooming! It's so tiny I think I'll keep it in a pot or the grass may eat it.

The season always seems to fly by doesn't it? It's sure fun while it lasts though.

I hate that every day now less and less iris are blooming. It really makes me sad.Only one has not bloomed yet.
It has been so exciting to wake up and hurry out to see what is starting to bloom, especially when I planted 60 new iris last summer.I think I counted 43 that bloomed of those.
I now need to get up enough energy to dig up sod for my new arrivals.I really don't have much room left to plant more iris.I think there will wind up being 25,plus gifts/bonus .11 are new intros.

Derylin ~ I guess that you will be busy for a while!

Tom ~ With all of this cool weather, I bet it will make your bloom season last a bit longer.

Believe it or not, it has been very cool here for this time of year.

It was 43° here this morning and it barely made it to 50° yesterday. That and cloudy and windy kept me inside yesterday. It is finally getting sunny, so maybe there will be some more blooms today. At least I will be able to go outside. As long as it's not too windy.

It does Tom, this particular season was all over the place, snow then rainstorms for a week straight. Quite a few just failed to open but there is next season and my roses and veg will be something to focus on.

Derylin new irises! that's exciting and 43 blooming out of 60 blooming is not bad. I hear you on digging sod.

Evelyn it's been cool here, actually a bit refreshing for me but it did get sunny enough for me to get sunburned Sticking tongue out
